10 days of Valentines day

Well, hello and good morning,, dreamers!

We all know February is the month of love, and with an upcoming Valentine’s Day, we cannot neglect it!

So, I thought starting the month with 10 things we should cover for the next 10 days for a successful Valentine’s Day!

And no, this article is not only for people in love searching for a quick easy-to-do this holiday!

Valentine’s Day is about love, but this year, you could choose yourself as a Valentine. Choose to love yourself, even if you don’t feel loved!

Also, this might not be an encouragement for consumerist, but more for creation.

Day 1

Time for planning. Who?

  • You?
  • You and someone special?
  • You and your beloved pet?

Who is invited this Valentine’s Day? Who gets your love? Make sure to choose wisely; Day 2 can be a crush too if you’re feeling brave!

Day 2

Theme.

When we think of Valentine’s Day, we think of pink and red and many hearts and roses. And sometimes, actually many times, it looks cheap and cheezy. You can totally go for it, but if you’re looking for something else, you can go with a simple elegant white with some pinches of color. You can switch classic red with cherry red/burgundy, which is very trendy right now. Flowers and candles can work magic if chosen wisely! My theme for this year is Wicked Precious Love, in which I incorporate pure white, some pink florals, bold cherry red, and some black. And no roses!

Day 3

Flowers

I can buy flowers for myself, but I also leave hints—lots of hints. I actually hope for some peonies from my boyfriend, even if this means placing an order at the flower market, and hope for the best to come alive from Holland. But I also know it might be late as the flower-giving season starts, and orders must be given early! This way, the flowers will look nice, the florist will know what to order, and everyone’s happy!

Also, you don’t end up with some dried-ass flowers; that don’t scream I’m here just to… gaslight you!

And if you do end up with those, buy some greenery also, or search for some green trees outside, and get rid of the plastic wrap, make a bouquet, and put it in a newspaper. Trust me, will be better.

Also, I might repeat myself, but red roses are basic.

Day 4

Location

Most likely all locations and good spots are reserved by February, so it didn’t make sense to talk early. If the loved one wants to go out, find a nice place that might not actually be mainstream (except if this is what’s desired, but already I think everything is sold out for those locations). Cozy, romantic, and not full of other lovebirds. Your favorite food, and here comes the jackpot.

If you choose an in-home option, think about the decor. I would say no to the balloons and petals that you’ll have to clean tomorrow, but cozy twinkle lights, candles, maybe a fireplace, some fuzzy blankets, and something to scream I care about your well-being.

If going away is your idea, but you’re not sure what the accommodation will look like, you can arrange it so they can decorate it for you!

Day 5

To Bear or not to bear

Unless you are a first-time lover, in highschool, or hints have been dropped on you, do not buy a bear. Or a frozen rose, or a cheap hearty thingy.

Day 6

Food

Well, now I know this can be tricky, but you might want to change your favorite order to some aphrodisiacs.

Here you have a list of ingredients:

  • Dark Chocolate – Contains phenylethylamine (PEA) and serotonin, which boost mood and pleasure.
  • Oysters – High in zinc, which supports testosterone production and libido.
  • Honey – Rich in boron, which may help regulate hormones and increase energy.
  • Avocado – Contains healthy fats and vitamin B6, which can help enhance hormone production.
  • Chili Peppers – Stimulate endorphin release and increase blood circulation.
  • Maca Root – Known as “Peruvian Viagra,” it may improve stamina and libido.
  • Pomegranates – Rich in antioxidants that improve blood flow and enhance arousal.
  • Figs – Packed with amino acids that may increase endurance and arousal.
  • Watermelon – Contains citrulline, which can help relax blood vessels and improve circulation.
  • Ginger – Boosts circulation and increases sensitivity.

And now dishes:

  • Oyster Rockefeller with Spicy Butter – Oysters baked with a rich mix of butter, herbs, and chili for an extra kick.
  • Grilled Honey-Ginger Glazed Chicken – Juicy chicken marinated in honey, ginger, and citrus for a tantalizing taste.
  • Avocado & Smoked Salmon Toast with Pomegranate Seeds – A luxurious, creamy dish packed with aphrodisiac ingredients.
  • Chili-Chocolate Dipped Bananas – A sweet and spicy dessert that melts in your mouth.
  • Spicy Watermelon Margarita – A cocktail with fresh watermelon, lime, chili, and tequila to ignite the senses.
  • Fig & Prosciutto Pizza with Honey Drizzle – A sweet-savory combination that’s rich in aphrodisiac properties.
  • Pomegranate-Glazed Duck Breast – A rich and elegant dish enhanced with a tart-sweet glaze.
  • Ginger-Chili Stir-Fried Beef – A fiery and flavorful stir-fry with circulation-boosting ingredients.
  • Chocolate-Covered Strawberries with Maca Powder – A sensual, energy-boosting treat.
  • Pomegranate & Avocado Salsa with Grilled Shrimp – A fresh, zesty dish perfect for a romantic meal.

Day 7

Outfits

Outfits do matter! In-house or not, a shirt and elegant shoes are a must. The same goes for an elegant feminine dress or outfit. This is an occasion to dress up. Make the most of it.

Day 8

Mood

The mood matters. Get some magnesium for both of you so you can have the energy to smile and enjoy. Get a little help from the music and set the mood to intimate, cozy, seductive, and loving.

Day 9

The gift

If it is 13 February and you don’t have a gift, you don’t care that much. Trust me. But if you still want to try, go get a book, a steamy one. Or go make a basket with all the things the other loves. It can be coffee or tea, lingerie, strawberries or pomegranates, a picture frame, a blanket, or a scarf. And of course, lots of chocolates. Expensive ones.

If you don’t plan on spending too much, go make 100 things I love about you jar. Or 100 ways you make me smile.

Jewelry is good too, except when it’s a ring. You know what I mean. Don’t propose. Don’t be basic.

Day 10

Handwritten love note.

Yeah, this is the cheezy part. Sit down and write a heartfelt love note.

I hope this small guide will help you plan for the next holiday and that it makes your life easier!

Until next time, I hope you have #adreamerlife!
