Who is invited to Christmas Dinner?

Hello and happy Wednesday!

As the blues of this holiday take over, we start getting more nervous day by day as the tasks build up. It is time to think about who we are inviting to the Christmas dinner!

We might see this time as the time of forgiveness, and we might forget who did us wrong and how! And we might end up at the Christmas table with people who piss us off, who make us uncomfortable, and who trigger us in our own sanctuary.

So, who do we invite over to Christmas dinner?

Family?

Extended family?

Friends?

Extender group of friends?

Who is most likely to feel like a burden? Who is most likely to say something inappropriate? Who is most likely to talk about politics, religion, or sexual orientation? Who is most likely to make a scene? Who is glucosensitive? Who is most likely to get overly drunk? Who is most likely to ask sensitive questions like marriage, kids, weight, and health?

Who is most likely to judge? Who is most likely to criticize? Who is most likely to make a face? Who is most likely to be mean?

Then there are other questions…

Who is most likely to feel alone this Christmas and would benefit from the company? Who is always in a good mood? Who has the good jokes with them? Who has a good heart? Who is happy for you no matter what? Who is easy to please? Who is always happy to see you? Who knows the words sorry?

These are a set of questions to answer before you send the invites for Christmas dinner, as it’s your own peace at stake!

And if you need more advice, check here or here!

Until next time, have #adreamerlife!
