Hello dreamers and good morning!
Last weekend I went home, I spent most of my days there treating kittens. Why? Well, mostly because my dear neighbors didn’t sterilize their cats, and even more they neglect, don’t feed them, or even worse they throw them away and much worse. So, we ended up with many kitties over the years, I have an account for them too, A kitten family.
They are not for adoption, cause once we invest in food, treatments, love, and affection, and for girlies’ pills (cause the vet is in childcare until the next month when they are programmed for sterilization), we got attached. But they are a lot, and some are friendly and loveable, some are there just for the food, some beat between themselves, and many many situations.
I also have Ash, a blue British shorthair cat, that I received and that stays with me at Brasov. He is so fluffy and so delicious and ungrateful for the life he has. He is a spoiled cat, that I spoiled, and which is my heart. I get the need and the impulse to get a breed cat, believe me. It’s so precious, like a diamond ring.
But precious was the baby I saved after a neighbor dog killed its mom, leaving him and his brothers to die of sunstroke in the grass. And that baby cat is going to be grateful for belly scratches, and probably his bills will be less expensive.
I am grateful for all my cats, and especially for Ash who truly changed my life, and I couldn’t be more thankful for his existence in my life, but please Adopt!
Cats have different personalities, but trust me, a poor baby on the streets will be affectionate. Some babies on the street even grow to have spectacular furs, especially long hair.
The common cat is cheaper to sustain. As we all know the procedure of having a pure breed, it’s essential to know that it comes with a predisposition to a more fragile health. For example, British cats are known for their heart problems, and respiratory problems and some even have coat problems, this is why it’s important to have a special diet, to keep them fit, but to take care of the articulation too.
My other cats eat snakes and frogs, and whatever they catch, they eat their treats and cat food, but once they are out of the house they hunt. Also, they come home like warriors, with scratches, no teeth, and injured paws, and the next day they are all glammed up and ready to conquer the world once again. Why? They are genetically more resilient!
Also, if you are interested in a certain breed, in my country at least, you can adopt them too. It’s a longer wait, but sometimes they end up in shelters too.
Senior cats also are a great choice, because they are autonomous, they know their way of life and in spite of what you might think, they can adapt easily.
So please, choose a poor homeless cat and give it a home and make their life easier, cause there are so many of us that can make a change in this world!
Until next time, I wish you have #adreamerlife and that you make one for some souls too!
