Hello dreamers and a happy new week. I start the week with the desire to travel and of course to spend time outside as much as I can, so here I am, spreading it to you too.

Urlatoarea Waterfall or fully translated Screaming Waterfall, located in Vama Buzaului, Romania, is a hydrogeological phenomenon, a sister waterfall with the one in Busteni,Prahova, Romania.

This lovely area is isolated and hidden in the mountains of Brasov County. It’s not very known, even among the nationals, but it’s worth a trip if you enjoy spending time in nature.

The area it’s arranged, it has a parking lot, public toilets, and lots of benches and tables where you can eat or spots to make a picnic.

To get to see the waterfall, you have to take a 10-15 min walk on the side of a small river, full of forests, both coniferous and oak, beech, and other trees.

You might get the chance to see wild animals, but as long as you have company they aren’t aggressive.

Once you get to the waterfall, you understand the unicity, and that is the possibility to walk on water. Having a constant flow, and being equipped with impermeable boots, you can walk all over the waterfall and see the beauty close.

If the waterfall, isn’t enough, you can follow the river up in the mountains for more scenery. Other attractions close by, are the Bison Reserve, and Siriu Lake.

For a one-day trip, this Romanian wonder is worthy of your effort and it will award you with amazing experiences and views.
