As some of you might know already, January is pretty much about trends and what is predicted to be going on for the year, and fashion is one of the things we discuss. And yeah, we talked a little when we discussed 2025 trends, but now we go even deeper.
Not that I am a fashion guru; I love my own style, but I also love to know what’s going to be in store for us!
Browns
With Pantone saying mocha mousse is the color of the year and deep cherry red, which some call “maroon,” it’s expected to have all kinds of browns around in fashion! And why not? Depending on the shade, I think browns must be in our wardrobe as they can complement our skin tone and make us glow, so yeah, I think it’s a trend to inspire in 2025!
Suede
Well, I think suede is a nice option for transitional weather, no matter how hard it is to maintain its quality. The smooth texture is not going to keep its shape but is going to help anyone feel more delicate and feminine.
Skinny Jeans
I know many fashion girls will leave after reading this, but the masses have spoken, and skinny jeans are making a comeback. And a pair of jeans that can be styled up or down and can be worn to a funeral, groceries, work, a club, and sometimes at parties—isn’t something that inspires? I don’t know what it is!
Black
I think black is overlooked. I know some people look better in white, and I can see why opting for white is a good idea! However, many of us, yours included, look better in black. And in a world of patterns, florals and animal print, someone has to choose black!
Tailored
In style or not, tailored clothing will always, but always make you feel better, look better, and uplift you! Especially if we talk about tailoring around the waist, which defines what’s in there and creates an hourglass shape. I think it’s all you need to change the game. I know, I know, relaxed fittings are better, but trust me, fitted looks better!
