Hello there!
As we get dressed for this night, whether we party like there’s no tomorrow or we chill on the sofa alone or with loved ones, it’s time to think back on what we achieved this year and how this year felt so we can make a plan for the next year.
And I to be honest, feel like this year passed like crazy: it was a complicated year, it wasn’t a bad year, but it wasn’t a good year either.
I have many thing to be grateful for like managing to reduce my debt up to 3k euros, visiting a few new places: Ciucas, Toaca, Fairy’s Castle, Sovata and Praid, Hearth of Jesus, Racos Volcano and The emerald Lake; I’ve grown my blog, I could say that I’ve almost tripled my views; my YouTube channel did grow without me creating content, wich made me rethink my next year; and I also started to see some growth on Pinterest.
I did have a breakthrough on my theses, and I did have a pretty good financial year, I can’t complain. My spending habits can be improved, but that’s another thing. I had three vacations, besides the hikes. I’ve created 4 new recipes.
I’ve created a TikTok account, and I posted there. I didn’t screw up to many things at work, just the usual amount.
What I learned in 2024?
- To let go, even to the best of friends!
- No matter how grown-ups, some will be the most childish in the room, especially those in power positions or close family.
- Boundaries, boundaries, boundaries.
- I love living alone, just me and my cat.
- You can find friendship in some of the most unexpected persons, while some will betray you.
- Choosing your idol is not permanent. You can change it after they make you hate them.
- Speaking up helps your health.
- Staying true to yourself is more important than trends.
- It’s OK to bring back the old you from time to time, even if it’s low-key toxic (to others).
But at the end of the day and the end of the year, I survived, and I am happy for what I’ve achieved!
I hope you have a wonderful year and that you’ll learn what you must from 2024!

Until next time, have #adreamerlife!
