September 2024 in a nutshell

Hello there and happy Monday! As you can imagine, September went by in the blink of an eye, and I am sitting and trying to realize what train hit me!

Apparently, going back to school this year didn’t come easy, and I still haven’t adapted to the new program, and the fact that starting tomorrow, I’ll have college classes too! This last part actually made me break down last week, with an anxiety attack!

For reference, I teach around 32 hours/week when the norm is 18. Add to this 2 hours of traffic/day, another 2 labs in college (4 hours), and a thesis to write, I have all the reasons to panic!

But today isn’t about what scares me, but what I accomplished this month!

  1. Send the reviewed article back to the editor!
  2. Make and Submit the paperwork for the expenses account thanks to my lovely colleague I did it without doing it!
  3. I’ve done the work paperwork and I found out I am on a committee I haven’t agreed, however, I had to sign some things.
  4. Unfortunately, I didn’t have time to do my research on Ganoderma, however, I found another idea with another plant!
  5. I didn’t post daily on my Ig posts or the others, however, I did post so it’s a celebration!
  6. I posted two TikToks, but I’m still not very fond of them!
  7. YouTube fell off the priority list, same as Amazon!
  8. I had to redo your CV and university papers and this kept me on the roads even more!
  9. I posted some more on Pinterest
  10. I posted almost as much as I wanted on my blog, even a new recipe!
  11. Working out meant walking to work, at least twice a week, and I am proud to say that I accomplished!
  12. I haven’t made a cleaning house routine, as my schedule wasn’t finished it, but I hope for October!
  13. I did clean up my wardrobe, however, I haven’t bought 2 Christmas Gifts only decorations!

As for other things I am glad to say I’ve done are:

  • Picking up pine-cones and acorns for decor.
  • Finding a chat GPT prompt to help me write my thesis.
  • Harvesting the grapes and making the wine.
  • Developing a new pie crust recipe
  • Finding a new accessible destination (however, as my work schedule won’t allow it, probably it will be for the next fall)
  • Learning to say no to new tasks!

It was a short month but with many tasks, and I think I made the most out of it! However, October is here and the tasks keep coming so, I really hope to achieve and complete most of them!

Until next time, I hope you have #adreamerlife!
