Super foods: what are they and do they work?

Hello dreamers and happy Wednesday!

While at work, I managed to squeeze in some time to write down a few things about a topic that I am talking and talking about as I am currently teaching it to more than 50 students per week.

Somehow more like a buzzword than an actual topic, Super-foods transcended the world of research paper in the food industry and landed on magazines, shows, and social media! It is not a new topic, is here for a while, but I decided to test it myself before I went into details!

Super-foods are nutrient-rich foods that offer numerous health benefits, and incorporating them into your diet can significantly boost your overall well-being.

Top Super-foods and Their Benefits

  1. Cranberries: These little red berries are loaded with antioxidants, vitamin C, and fiber. They’re known for their ability to support urinary tract health, boost the immune system, and promote heart health by reducing inflammation and cholesterol levels. Also, a good cranberry tea might help you lose some weight as it has a flushing effect on the organism.
  2. Blueberries: Packed with powerful antioxidants called anthocyanins, blueberries help combat oxidative stress and protect against chronic diseases. They are also rich in vitamins C and K, making them excellent for supporting immune function and maintaining healthy skin.
