Hello there and happy Wednesday!

Half of the first week of September has passed, I am back to work and social media is filled with what’s new this fall! And as you know I’m no fashion guru and I encourage everyone to embrace their own style, but this doesn’t mean I don’t have an interest in fashion!

Of course, there are many themes that occupy the stage, but I will focus only on a few that I like and a few that do well, I hope you won’t hate me too much!

Suede

Especially suede bags, but also some suede jackets! Do I like it? Maybe Kind of yeah. I think suede is a very feminine material, I’ve put my eyes on a suede black biker jacket, but I’m not sold yet. I have an outer trench-like jacket for the season, my knee-high boots, and I have my ankle boots, I am ok! What I think it bothers me is that suede can lose its shape and I am into the fitted zone rather than oversize.

Yes, yes, yes and yes!

Denim on Denim

I remember I was like 15 when the internet and fashion industry finally said denim on denim is not working. Eleven years have passed and now we are in an era where this is considered elegant.

Do I love denim on denim? Yes but with only one condition: not to match!

I love a nice Black skinny pair of jeans with little to no texture and a blue textured jacket. I also love the same color combo but with a skirt, or a skirt and a denim vest. Do I love Dark blue denim on dark blue denim? No! I think it’s giving cowboy meets Barbie vibes and we’ll be over it by Christmas.

Animal print, more exactly leopard print.

If you truly ask me I have only 2 pieces of animal print in my wardrobe, snake animal print. Why? Because it’s pretty hard to style and it doesn’t scream class. I feel like you need to play it small with everything just because the animal print is pretty bold by itself. This will probably see the dawn of spring tho.

Mesh blouses

Growing up I’ve seen my sister own a few that she passed on to me as club-wear, cause that’s the only thing it should be worn. It’s not practical at all, it’s not comfy at all, not warm. Maybe for spring I would be more into it, but as for fall? No, no!

Please don’t!

Cropped trenches

I have to admit that for the last 5 years, I have been looking for the perfect trench coat, and I didn’t find it! Why? Because of those long trench coats that want to be Burberry either were out of my budget, either were going oversized or large, or they were too long.

Due to the switch to cropped trenches, the internet filled with cropped trenches, the normal trenches, and something in between! While this isn’t affiliate nor ad, I am so proud that I found the perfect trench coat for me, and I do think that I speak on behalf of all the not-so-tall but no-petite working women, who search for that perfect length, easily tailored, piece, that can be worn to work, to the club, to date, Pinterest worthy but effortless, and in a good price range!

The product is MIEGOFCE Lapel Double-Breasted Trench Coat and I think I got it with a discount at almost half the price! However, in Romania, I didn’t find something similar at the price, so for me it’s a win!

P.S. I know all the opinions about Shein, however, Zara is also considered a fast-fashion brand, and taking a private plane has a larger carbon footprint than an order like this. Consumerism is still consumerism no matter if we buy the Burberry coat or the Shein one, and work ethics are shitty in the health system, educational field, and other renowned businesses. It’s up to you if you decide to leave the page, however, I stand by my beliefs and choices!

Now, going back to the main subject, last but not least we have

Everything cherry red

As someone who has a brand in this color, well how could I not like it? I do love this color and I will incorporate it in my daily life more than by sharing posts, but not necessarily with clothes!

I feel like everyone is going to be fully red all the cold season as the fall goes by Christmas is known for red, then we have Valentine’s Day so my guess is that everyone is going to have it!

I will stick only to a manicure, a jacket, and a blouse. If it is to be a wedding, probably I would buy a dress, as I do think the color suits me, and I find very powerful pants in this color too but don’t think I’ll buy them!

I found these ideas very inspiring, however for my workspace, it would be too much!

Is interesting for sure the season to come, it does go well with the whole Mob wife aesthetic we started the year with, but we will see what the big houses are truly giving us!
