Fall 2024: The Bucket List of a busy teacher

Good morning dreamers and happy Saturday!

I know, I know, I’ve done the undoable and started the fall articles 2 days earlier than usual, but I am ready for the long fall days ahead, and as I go back to school on Monday anyway, I think I can be forgiven.

And if you thought that after yesterday’s article, I would stop making bucket lists, well.. I am not!

I love autumn with all my heart! While I am aware of my free time in the months to come, I still want to sketch a list of the things I love doing that give me that fall vibe, without much effort as 2 jobs and a Ph.D. don’t exactly match that effortless fall aesthetic life. So, let’s start and maybe you’ll find inspiration too!

Fall 2024 bucket list

  • Enjoy the fall foliage by walking to work. And I know 29 November I will hate today for this, but I need to lose weight, I spend an hour in traffic to work, I would walk an hour to work. Right now it’s a nice idea, ask me two weeks from now, and we will see. But even if I’m doing it once I am happy. Other ways to enjoy the foliage would be to walk during the breaks and to spend the weekends in the forest or hiking.
  • And if we talked about hiking, next on my list is Have an October hike. I already know where, and I plan on having it as long as time allows it. It’s called Bicajel Valley.
  • Have a bonfire. And if in the past I was thinking friends by the forest fun time, flannel, I think the same, but I am ok, with a simple date.
  • Make the pies: apple, pear, grapes.
  • Eat seasonally
  • Have a fall photoshoot
  • Watch Gossip Girl and Gilmore girls, cause what is fall without Blair Waldorf and Starts Hallow?
  • Something unexpected for me but Going horse riding
  • Start a 90-day Manifestation Journey cause your life is so boring and have so much free time (said a little voice in my head).
  • Start a 90-day Gratitude Challenge. Well, this one is a little more spiritual. As a kid I used to pray, then I grew up, started falling asleep with the phone in my hands, and lost the habit. I would really love to do it again. As for you, fall is about harvesting what you saw, and I find that inspiring to reflect and practice any form of gratitude.
  • Go mushroom picking. I really love to do this and I am doing it every year.
  • Go to a fall fair and probably go to my hometown.
  • Start a series of Fall Mocktails or Cocktails. Whatever you like
  • Go apple picking. For the pies.. and mocktails of course!
  • Carve a pumpkin for Halloween
  • Enjoy the fall fashion. Cause dressing or not is not an option so at least let’s make the most of it.
  • Decorate your home. To me this means getting out of the closet all the pumpkins and mugs and spreading them all over the house, also getting some nice flowers to put in a vase!

As you can see, my list isn’t the classical one drink a pumpkin spice latte, neither a boring or an impossible one. It includes like always some really achievable things, some fun activities, some activities that can be done multitasking, and some more special activities.

I’ll leave now this list, my original list included in my planner, and an empty list to inspire you. As well you can find them in my Printable section.

And if you decide to go on that mindfulness/ gratitude trip, here you have some of my fall-themed products listed on Amazon.

I really do hope you had an amazing summer, and that you’ll enjoy this season as much, no matter the aesthetics! Don’t forget to subscribe if you like this type of and follow on each platform!

Until next time, I hope you have #adreamerlife
