Top 10 foods to try by the end of the year!

Daily writing prompt
What foods would you like to make?

Hello dreamers, and good afternoon!

As today’s article should’ve been a hot read for your vacation, the daily prompt made me delay it and think a little outside the box!

As my free time diminished with each summer, my creativity in the kitchen followed and I could not brag about trying new things for a while. Cause yeah, when you are in a hurry you either prepare easy things, either things you know by hearth so you don’t waste time!

But not to lie, a part of me is also afraid that the outcome won’t be anything but pig food, and my inner child would be punished by my mother who says I only spoil things, and I don’t have anything better to do than mess. Yeah, the beloved childhood trauma! Anyone elese?

Leaving the jokes (not a joke) aside, I think 6 months to try to overcome my limiting beliefs for 10 recipes is quite plenty, so I invite you too, the other (traumatised) passionate in the kitchen to follow my example and to grow your skills!

  • Macarons: While I love these sweet desserts, the only time I wanted to make was when I was in highschool, and I was told the almond powder was really expensive. Then when I had my money, and I wanted to make them, a tutorial said it’s really hard to make them. So I never tried them, but for sure I want to try now!
  • Sushi: Maybe it’s because of the raw fish, maybe because wassabi it’s supposably spicy, but I always was afraid of trying.
  • Pasta: And I don’t mean the dish, but the real pasta dough, eventually colored.
  • Croissants from scratch: believe me or not, I never did foetaj from scrath, so I really wanna try it!
  • Ratatouille: Maybe it’s because it’s fancy in cartoons, maybe cause I lack challenging ideas!
  • Ramen: well, this isn’t really for me as it is for bae’s.
  • Brie and camembert something: I love these cheeses but I never baked them with topping, so it would be a good try!
  • Gnochi: Head of, seen in stores, never tried. And as fall aproaches, maybe try some pumpkin gnochi?
  • Pesto: Well, who needs a reason to try this?
  • Carrot cake: Another classic that I’ve never tried, yet it should be time!

Well, these are 10 ideas to get out of my comfort zone for the rest of the year, and I encourage you to do the same! If you have any interesting ideas or recipes you would wannna see how they turned out, comment below! Also, if you are interested in my recipes, give them a try here!

Until next time, I wish you #adreamerlife!
