Autumn Activities for the Busy Woman: Nourishing Mind, Body, & Soul

Good morning dreamers and happy weekend!

As we dive deeper in these colorfull autumn days, I came up with a plan, for us busy women, to make the most f this season!

  • Morning Nature Walks: Before the day’s challenges knock on your door, take a brisk walk in the park or by the lakeside, or simply to work. The crunch of fallen leaves underfoot and the serene ambiance of dawn can help set a positive tone for the rest of your day. Plus, walking is great for cardiovascular health.
  • Indulge in Seasonal Produce: Realign your diet with the bounty that autumn offers. Experiment with squash, pumpkin, apples, and figs. Busy doesn’t mean neglecting one’s diet. Smoothies, quick salads, or slow cooker meals can pack in the seasonal goodness.
  • Mindful Meditation with Autumn Scents: Carve out 10 minutes from your day to meditate. Incorporate autumn scents like cinnamon, clove, or apple to enhance the experience. Mindfulness can aid in stress reduction, a crucial aspect for those always on the go.
  • Crafting & DIY: Engage in simple DIY crafts like wreath-making or decorating pumpkins. These not only offer a creative outlet but can serve as bonding activities with family or friends.
  • Plan a Weekend Getaway: Whether it’s a cabin in the woods or a wine tour in the countryside, a short break can recharge your spirits. Even a day trip to a nearby town can offer fresh perspectives and respite.
  • Attend Local Autumn Events: Explore farmers’ markets, autumn fests, or orchard picking activities. These outings can offer relaxation, local produce, and an opportunity to support community events.
  • Incorporate Autumn Fashion: Layers, earthy tones, and cozy textures; autumn is a haven for fashionistas. Even if you’re working remotely or have limited events to attend, dress up for yourself. It’s an instant mood booster.
  • Night-time Reading by the Fireplace: As days get shorter, the evenings provide a perfect excuse to catch up on reading. Whether it’s a thriller or a self-help book, dive into a different world by the warmth of the fireplace or a scented candle.
  • Home Spa Evening with Autumn Infusions: Mix up a pumpkin facial mask or a cinnamon bath soak. The season offers rich ingredients for skincare. An occasional pamper evening can help you destress and feel rejuvenated.
  • Declutter and Prepare for Winter: As nature sheds its old leaves, take a cue and declutter your space. A cleaner space can boost productivity and create a calm environment.

Incorporating these activities doesn’t mean overhauling your schedule. The idea is to sprinkle them in where they fit best. For the busy woman, every season offers an opportunity to grow, revitalize, and reconnect with the self. Let this autumn be your canvas for crafting moments of joy amidst the hustle and bustle.

As I said before, I hope you have a great weekend and #adreamerlife,

Cristiana Apreutese
