Good evening, dreamers!
Are you feeling those warm spring days? Me neither!
As I’m hoping to take my coat to clean and trade it for my leather jacket, outside starts to snow again. So, maybe next week.. or month…
Anyhow, this delay, doesn’t mean that isn’t time to take care of our health and bodies.
And, as you know, I’m not talking about performance, I’m talking only about being able to feel good and confident about ourselves.
So, here am I, writing to you once again, about one of my tricks.
Pretty much, my whole life I was skinny, so, unlike my classmates, I wasn’t spending my summers running or at the gym.
Yet, I was spending hours weekly dancing. Yeah, you heard me right: dancing.
I wasn’t doing it for performance, I was doing it for me, for pleasure. Being a shy kid implies a lack of friends and social activities, so I was doing my best by myself.
At that point in my life, I didn’t make a connection between my skinniness and dancing. With time, things changed.
You see, at home, I had all this space and intimacy to be me, when you get to your dorm room, well, you change your daily habits.
I was never alone and my room was too small to have any physical activities in there, so, here I was gaining some weight, not more, but enough to see a difference.
Then I understood that yeah, I wasn’t preoccupied with working out, yet same time I was actively working out a few hours every other day.
I know that out there, are many options to turn your dance into cardio as bachata or Zumba, but here I am to talk about what you can do by yourself without any other effort.
So, what do you need?
- Space
- Earphones
- Favorite music playlist
And now that you have them? What?
Well, start enjoying yourself!
Start feeling good about yourself, start wiggling, start moving your limbs and everything. And that’s it!
For me, honestly, this is the funniest and easiest way to do cardio.
Anyhow, for tonight, this is it. I’m leaving you to enjoy this evening!
