Romania

Good evening dreamers, how are you today?
I, for instance, relax after this extended weekend. In Romania, is celebrated a national holiday today. This is why, right before we jump to the topic, we’ll have a quick history class.

24th January is known as the Small Union. In 1862, 2 out of the 3 Romanian states were united, when Alexandru Ioan Cuza, was elected leader in Romanian County and Moldavia. Both of the states being under the same ruler established Bucharest as Capital.

This was the first step towards Romania we all like and know.
Yet, enough with the history lesson. Now, this post is a celebratory one and, I want to show you some beauties of this country, or if you are a Romanian, to remind you how much it has to offer.

Snowy mountains (Bugeci-Bran)
