Hello, hello my dears!
A weekend day just passed but, be sure, it wasn’t in vain!
Like a normal human being, sometimes I have cravings, and today’s one was cupcakes. But, as the holidays are over and it’s still time until valentine’s, it’s not quite time for red velvet cupcakes. It’s not spring-summer to make them with fresh fruits, or fall to make them with cinnamon flavor so, this month can be a bit confusing when it comes to flavors, to put it this way.
So, what’s the safer choice? Chocolate, of course!
But, don’t hate me for standing between you and that health-body-goals!
I’ll take care of that need too, later this month, but now let’s satisfy your curiosity about the recipe.
It’s a recipe for 24-30 cupcakes, with 15 min to bake each batch.
Ingredients
- 200 g butter
- 3 eggs
- 2 tablespoons cacao
- 250 g, low-fat 2% yogurt
- 200 g powdered sugar
- chocolate chips
- 10 g baking powder
- vinegar
How to make chocolate velvet cupcakes
Well, as you might have figured, this is a reinterpreted red velvet recipe, so, it’s kinda the same with preparing.
- Make sure the butter is at room temperature, or microwave it for 15 seconds.
- Mix it with sugar until it’s even.
- Add the first egg and mix it.
- Add a tablespoon of cacao and 2 of flour out of the full quantity. Add them by sieving.
- Mix everything.
- Add the second egg and mix.
- Add a third of the flower and the remaining cacao, by sieving and mix.
- Add half of the quantity of yogurt and incorporate by mixing.
- Add the rest of the flour, you’ve guessed, sieved, and mix.
- Add the rest of the yogurt and incorporate.
- Mix the baking powder with a few drops of vinegar, and add it to the composition.
- In the end, add as many chocolate chips as you want and incorporate them with a spoon.
- Add the composition in cupcakes forms, 3/4 of their height.
- Bake them for about 15 min at 220 C.
- Eat as many as you wish.

That’s it, guys! A simple recipe for you to try tomorrow, or anytime you feel the need to eat something sweet, or anytime you wish.
As for me, I can only say that I hope you have an amazing Sunday and see you enforced on Monday!
