Hello, my dears!
I hope you have a great week, or at least greater than mine. I caught the flu on Monday and now I look like Rudolf with his red nose.
But, let’s finish with complaints, I’m here to help you with keeping up with your NY’s goals and resolutions.
Today’s topic is something practicable and touchable: tools for time management.
There are many options out there that can help keep track of whatever you need, it pretty much depends on you and your working tactics. So, here is a list of the tools I find useful and practical for you.
- planner
- agenda
- post it
- markers
- apps
- tablet
- laptop
- phone
- A6/A7 notebook
- pen
- free printables
- pocket calendar
Ok, now. let’s talk about them in detail.
Planner
Well, a planner is made so you can have everything in place, all the important stuff, all the data.
You can get a customized planner, one that you can customize or you can make your own using the bujo method. The ones already customized can be about self-love, business, travels, and so on. I use the planner to keep track of my lifestyle and yearly goals.
Agenda
We all know the classic agenda that we can use basically how we need. This one I use at my job, to keep track of tasks.
Post-it
If you are more of a visual person, use some post-its to always have your goals and task right in front of your eyes. I, for instance, bought a whiteboard from PEPCO, and hang the post it’s behind my laptop, on it.
Markers
Or colored pens. Well, do I need to talk about it? We need different colors so it all pops for our eyes.
Apps
Oh, technology.
I don’t really use planning apps, but I am aware that they are out there.
I know that you can easily plan posts for social media, or actually plan your time and always have access to it.
Phone
Talking about easy access, we all have our phones stuck to our hands so it’s normal to take maximum advantage of it. A phone comes with its own calendar, notes, and notification app so, basic stuff to plan. Also, if you have an online planning document you can easily access and edit.
Laptop
Another IT friend. One with more possibilities because you can easily create documents, charts, printables, edit them, and so on.
Tablet
Well, this is a more portable laptop or a more useful phone. Basically, it’s a combination between a phone and a laptop so you can do the things you need, when and where you need them.
A6/A7 notebook
Practically, who doesn’t need a baby agenda? I use to keep track o my student’s presence on practice skills on the field and other references about them. I can easily carry it with me, no matter what kind of purse do I have on.
Pen
Well, no words are needed.
Free printables
Well, as I said many times, ree printables are for those who need to plan some parts of their life and don’t really have the time to do all the planning process. Basically, these are some cheat sheets.
Pocket calendar
If you are one of mine, you’ll unlock your screen and still don’t know what day is it. A pocket calendar with inscribed dates can easily help you and, you also can add notes on it.
Well, these are the tools that I promised you.
I hope that you’ll find them helpful in need my dears and that you’ll have the power needed to start tomorrow in a positive way.
