Goals for 2022

Oh, but hello my dears, and Happy New Year!

As the year passed, we are standing once again in front of a new adventure: a new year!

And, as tradition dictates, we must be full of hope because life gave us a new opportunity to start fresh.

I, on the other hand, think that every year, we have 365 new opportunities to start fresh or to mess things up. Depends on you and your goals.

Since last year, I had a major breakdown in the middle of February, this year I do have big goals but, I don’t know, I just feel different, but in a better way.

I still have and feel a lot of pressure on my head to make things work. Yet, this pressure is internal. One big mistake I made in the past, was to focus on the people around me also. I would put the key to my happiness and success in the hands of my boyfriend, family, and friends.

You wouldn’t catch my proud self admitting that before so, now, reading this, is a premiere. I would set my goals thinking of them instead of thinking of me and the relationship with my principles and soul. Yeah, a breakdown was inevitable.

But, as I said, with every new day, we have new chances to learn, to make mistakes, and to have success.

Coming back to the main topic of this article, tradition says that the begging of a new year marks the perfect moment to set some resolutions.

I, for instance, believe that resolutions are wishes that will never come true. They are written so abstract that will never happen and researchers back me up on this.

Instead, I set goals for NY’s and even more, SMART GOALS.

Why? Because they are not abstract, they are measurable, touchable. For example, instead of having a resolution of writing more blog posts this year, what about writing 5 articles/ week this year? Do you see what difference did it made?

Now, that I briefly surpassed the difference between resolutions and goals or objectives, now let’s see what’s on my agenda this year. Shall we?

  1. Visit a new place monthly.
  2. Launch your e-market by November 1st.
  3. Have a 5k community on Ig.
  4. Post 5 articles a week.
  5. Post weekly on secondary Ig accounts.
  6. Read 12 new books.
  7. Create 36 new printable supplies.
  8. Create a community of 10k on all platforms.
  9. Have a monthly photoshoot.
  10. Find a perfect apartment to move in, in September.
  11. Develop a sustainable personal style.
  12. Have weekly self-care sessions.

So, here you have them. 12 goals for 12 months.

I can go on and on with my goals for the year, but we have to be realistic. A year passes by as you say happy New Year.

Things do change in a year, but not as many as we wish for.

To rank them, the most challenging goal of the year would be launching my e-market and creating communities. The trends, algorithms, and everything changes. I have to be on top of my game to create my dreams, but I will.

On the other hand, the easiest challenge of the year is creating printables, self-care sessions, and style development.

The one with developing my personal style is something that I work on for a while and I have the confidence of showing it now.

Here you have my plans for the year, but what about you? Let me know in the comments below!

I hope you’ll have an amazing year!
