Yeah, the agitation started so, here I am telling you some insights o the traditions I live.

Caroling is still a thing. Not the classical ones, but a bit different. Here I am talking about The goat, The Bear, and Plugusorul. These are some carols where people dress up to frighten the Old year spirits and prepare the spot for luck and a New prosperous year.

Having money in your pockets. One of our superstitions/traditions is to have money in our pockets. If we have, abundance will join us in the new year.

New and red clothes. These are also a sign of luck and abundance in the new year. The abundance of gifts and love.

Kissing under the mistletoe. Well, I think everyone knows it, if you kiss your loves one under the mistletoe, it is said that you’ll have a longer, happier relationship.

Make sure your first visit of the year is someone worthy. It’s been said that the new year will be the same as the first person that crosses your door.

Well, these are the traditions that still live around my house and my family. What traditions do you have for New Year?
