Holiday crafts supplies

Hello team!

I hope you had a great weekend, not a sour taste after my previous article.

Today’s theme is more holiday-related and more practical.

I’ll keep it short cause is starting to feel like, at least my schedule is filling up with different activities, so maybe yours too.

Christmas started as a holiday about love, kindness, goodness, feelings, and family, about religion. Now is pretty much about consumerism. We all are buying gifts and decor, for us or our close ones.

For a few years, I started making Christmas table decor and wreaths. I use them to decorate my house, I gift them and also I use them as a way to keep our departed close to family, by leaving some at tombstones.

I use both natural materials but also I have to admit that I use some bought decorations.

So if you want to try your luck and give more than some decor here’s what you might need.

  • pine cones
  • acorns
  • chestnuts
  • spruce branches (I searched fallen trees)
  • reed
  • citrus fruits
  • ornaments
  • a glue gun
  • thread
  • scissors
  • tree slices or paper plates
  • golden or silver spray

Unfortunately, if they are natural, you have to search for these materials, in the woods. So, buckle up!

As I said, I search for fallen trees so I gather branches. I think that it’s a perfect opportunity to upcycle and also it’s environment friendly. All you need are some scissors and thread and you can start making wreaths.

For pine cones, acorns, chestnuts you have to search technically before leaves fall, but it’s never late! If you want, you can use them as they are or spray them.

Citrus fruits have to be dried.

As for the rest? Use your imagination to craft, craft, craft.

As I promised, I’m not keeping you long. Here you have some of my beauties.

If you are from Romania, you can check my Ig, and order!

Anyways, have a wonderful weekend #adreamerlife!
