WOMEN AND MEN

Hello guys! How are you?

Today’s topic is a bit hot, and I’m not using foreplay before jumping right into it.

As many of you know, yesterday was International Men Day. But, do you know what is today, November 19th? Well, today is Women’s Entrepreneurship Day.

To be noted, I’m not writing this to be sexist. I believe in equity so, I don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings.

This subject is talked about almost daily, yet, results are low and are our fault. None of us aren’t willing to change so, why would things change?

Women are expected to be less successful in business, even less if we say entrepreneurs. Is still expected of us to give birth and raise kids. Feed them, bathe them, dress them, help them with homework, and so on. Is expected to cook and clean and be nice and beautiful and let our men do the work.

And some of us, do this. And the kids see and learn. Our boys learn to search for someone to stay at home, someone who needs them to provide, so they get good jobs. Women learn early that they need a prince charming. They need to earn their princess life by being vulnerable and doing “girls stuff” I mentioned before.

When are we going to stop? Both of us, women and men?
When are we stopping being sexist, or misogynistic, or complaining, accepting, not saying anything, hearing but not listening?

Women can do so much more than cookies. We can be in business. We can be entrepreneurs. As our queen Beyonce, girls can run the world but we are not doing it. We can change the world.

How to? With small changes.

Start from inside, with your soul. Then with your actions, then with your relatives.

Yeah, your mom can say that she wants grandkids so find a man to give her, even if you don’t want to. Kidding. Say to your mind what you think. That you have priorities. She can adopt if she doesn’t want to understand.
Also, your dad can say that he wants you to take over the family business just because you have b.. testicles, even though you want to travel the world.

The world is as cruel for men and women and is our responsibility to change it, to make it better for the next generation.

I can write about statistics and how this situation is affecting us but, the internet is full.

I’m using this opportunity only to remind you that this problem exists. I’m using this opportunity to remind you that things won’t change until we all change our mindset.

Entrepreneur women will be bossy, divas, aggressive as long as the business is for men only.
Also, men won’t have balls as long as feelings and being sensitive is for women only.

Let’s fight for equality but most important for equity!

This is all for today. Write in comments what do you think about this issue.

P.S If you are new to this page, you might not know that I’m trying to follow an entrepreneurship path. At this stage, it will be helpful and I’ll be grateful if you decide to follow me and spread the word about this page, download some free printable or follow on IG.

Yours truly, living #adreamerlife,
Crissu
