Hello there!
How is your week going until now? Except for the fact that snow came a bit earlier than I expected, mine is great!
I want to share with you today something I’ve been up to two weeks ago.
So, in the middle of October, I became an auntie for the very first time. Needless to say that I am thrilled? Same my family? We have an amazing baby girl among us! And what does an amazing baby girl need to start her possible future model career? An amazing (crazy) auntie with her camera!
This crazy auntie speaking transformed her room into a fall-inspired studio to celebrate her. Yeah, you heard right!
Your dreamer speaking, used her fireplace as a background centerpiece and started building around it! Worst part? My custom-made armoires with mirrors that I had to mask most of them somehow.
So, theme? Fall-cozy baby photoshoot!
Good, now, beside that fireplace, what else would scream fall and cozy, baby appropriate? Wooden chairs? Leaves? Chrysanthemums? Pumpkins? Mushrooms?Hedgehogs?
All of the above! And no, I did not have all this before in my room. And disclaimer, my room is on the second floor.
So yeah, this auntie went outside and searched for colorful leaves. After that, one by one, I took those flower pots upstairs from the yard. Also, I kidnaped my mom’s yard mushroom and hedgehog. The future jack-o-lanterns had a previous utility before carving too.
Now, let the fun begin. I set up the chairs to help me layer this decor. A flower pot here, vase, throw some leaves, gently position the pumpkins and ceramic guests, and bam! The only thing left? Warm the room for the baby!
At least as a studio decorator. As an auntie, go to the nursery and dress that baby girl in her dress. As a photographer? Do those photos, and edit them. As a blogger? Write about it! Coming back to studio decorator: cleaning the room after, repeating the mentioned process backward, carrying downstairs flowerpots, pumpkins, returning Mr. hedgehog and mushroom, swipe those dry leaves.
And, as you might have guessed, my job as a studio decorator is done. As a photographer, all I can say is it was my first baby photoshoot so, don’t throw stones at me. It was funny, a bit challenging but, it is my niece. Whatever could have happed, she was incredible anyway (talking about professionalism here, or the lack of it).
As I said, as a blogger is to write about my experience, share some photos!

I am a beautiful princess or what?? Let me know what you think in the comments!
That’s all for today. I hope you have a great week and I’ll see you soon!
Have #adreamerlife!
