Why so numb? Why so careless? About you, about your life and what happens to you in general.
Why do you live just to exist instead of existing to live? Why do you breathe just to survive?
You have 60 seconds every minute, 60 minutes every hour, 24 hours every day, 7 days every weeks, 52 weeks every year and almost 60 years/ life, more if you are lucky, less if something tragic happens.

This time is given to you as a gift, to use it as much as possible. You should learn things, explore places, have experiences, enjoy it the most.
“We die after all so I don’t see the point of giving so much energy, of giving a damn about what happens after all” you would say. Yeah, we die and we should giving a damn about what happens.
We should get our heads out o screens, we should communicate, we should forgive and forget, we should stop to listen what others have to say, we should protect that abused person instead of walking by, we should show our appreciation to an stradale artist, we should do a lot of things, but we are numb.
Most of us grew up with the idea that we die after all and we can’t make a change. Most of us grew up with the idea that we, our opinions and acts don’t matter, so we are living our lives day to day until we die this way, not realizing that we are numb not alive.
Other, disappointed by the fact that they did not had a happy ending at some point in their life, they are numb too.
One thing I know for sure: Happy endings are not real. The end is when we die, until then we can’t say it’s the end cause life goes on, things happen, life won’t stop, pause or whatever. Another thing is that if you are truly happy you don’t want it to end so if it is the end it is not gonna be happy.
About the fact the we and what we do, say etc. matters, yeah we’ve been taught that one person can’t change a thing, but think about how seeing that one person you love, cherish, hate whatever, can change your day. Yeah a person can make a change, even if it is small so don’t be so numb!
Say hi to your neighbor, help that old man, smile to strangers, be grateful, be patient, be there, explore, read a book, pet that cat, play with your dog, call your family, go out with your friends, stop being numb.
But again this is just me and my opinion, what about you?
